National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week
The McLennan County Hunger Coalition and the Heart of Texas Homeless Coalition are once again participating in National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week! Now in its fifth year in Waco, NHHAW hopes to bring awareness to not only local poverty, food insecurity, and homelessness, but also to the state and national issues that affect our citizens. Our 2013 focus is senior hunger. We’d love for you to participate in any — if not all — of our week’s events! Please spread the word! Let’s end hunger and homelessness in our community!
